King's Deer, in my opinion, is one of the two most challenging courses in the state along with Pine Creek Golf Course in Colorado Springs. I had planned to rate the course, but after the first hole I decided to put my rating sheet aside and just enjoy the event with my playing partners Bob and Lynn Paydo and Ray Garsez. The club Head Professional, David Talaba, was kind enough to invite me back to rate the course in the future, but my bet is that it will be in the SFG-3 to SFG-5 rating. To find out what SFG ratings are all about click on COURSE RAGINGS.

Bob Paydo, and Melissa Smith.
